My name is Matthew Lawrence but everyone calls me Lenny. Ever since I can remember I knew two things, how to draw and cheer for the Vikings. The credit for each of them go to both my Mom and Dad. Ever since I could hold a crayon my Mom taught me how to draw and ever since I knew what football was my dad breeded me into a die hard Viking fan. Throughout my life I have entered and won numerous drawing competitions and attended to countless Viking games. Once I left home for college in 08' drawing soon became a lost hobby of mine. I always wanted to get back into it but never seemed to find either the time or effort for it. But then that later changed this past month (September 2012) when I created a twitter account. Now your probably saying whats twitter have to do with this. I follow Cris Carter, the former great Minnesota Viking player and sent him a tweet of my mothers drawing of him she drew for me when I was young. The next day he got back to me saying he's be more than happy to sign it for me and gave me his mailing address. Ever since that moment with my Mom's drawing sparked something in me. I just felt like drawing after that and began to do so. I then made me up a Studio of my own called Purple Pride Studio. Its where I draw up portraits of Viking fans and all things Vikings. I am currently working on a collection of the greatest fans on earth in the VWO (Viking World Order). I do take requests from any Viking fan and will do so as long as possible. Skol Vikings!!!
